God is longsuffering... key word, SUFFERING.
God took the "hit" for our sins for us by crushing His own son.
Jesus Himself SUFFERED on our behalf precislely so that we DO NOT HAVE TO SUFFER.
God watches while the world misunderstands and rejects him.
Yet his Word tells us He has given us the place of "Overcomer," "The Head, not the Tail." "Having all that we need", able to do "ALL THINGS."
So how do we define the difficulty of a trial, even to the point of being called "the evil day" which God's Word tells us clearly that we must withstand, endure, persevere through.
IF we define it as suffering, we will wrongy submit to it, thinking we are just 'bound' to suffer assuming it is God's Plan, and we will not overcome. We will get swallowed up in pain, sorrow, and defeat.
We must understand that it is a temporary test to be ENDURED, to PERSEVERE through to the "expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11).
