What's My Part? What's God's Part?

If there's no adversary/deceiver/devil/Satan in your theology, then everything is God's fault. 

 If there's no Ephesians 6 armor in your gospel, then everything is Satan's fault. 

 We have been given EVERYTHING WE NEED through the KNOWLEDGE of Christ, but we must "stand our ground" against "the wiles of the devil." We must PUT ON the armor of God and take up the shield of faith. 

Believing that what God's Word says IS true--not possibly but ACTUALLY even if we cannot see it. 

"I have been delivered from your hand, enemy!"  Even as he has you clutched at the throat.  

That is your victory! Because your enemy is lying to you! He is saying, "I've got you!" And you can declare in Jesus' name, NO YOU DON'T! LEAVE! 

WHAT?? THAT'S WEIRD!!

Well, what do you think Jesus meant when he told them to go out, preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out devils.  

To cast out devils. 

Now, one last thing that really bothers people. If God knows everything and knows what I'm going to do and what I'm going to choose, can't I just sit back and let it all unfold knowing that "it's in God's hands" and "He'll do what needs to be done?"  

It is a beautiful mystery that I am always responding to him in action and in faith yet he knows my response beforehand. I don't know, but I have seen that when I stand up and stand on his word, mighty miracles happen! When I go against the feeling of  'Well, whatever will happen will happen, I guess God's got a plan' things change. Because HIS PLAN WAS THAT HE WOULD HAVE ALREADY TOLD ME IN THE WORD THAT IT IS FOR ME TO STAND UP AND FIGHT AND STAND MY GROUND ON THE EVIL DAY, NOT LAY DOWN AND GIVE UP!

This is why we are motivated to share the gospel, to set captives free, to teach those how to stand up in Christ against the devourer so they can experience the deliverance he paid for!
